ChrisLlife equips Catholics for the essential work of evangelization so others might personally encounter Jesus Christ and be transformed into His missionary disciples in the Catholic Church. The ministry partners with dioceses, parishes, and small group leaders who are seeking to answer the Church's call for the New Evangelization through a proven process of parish evangelization and outreach. They developed the ChristLife Series to help all people discover, follow, and share Jesus Christ as members of the Catholic Church.
ChristLife's story began with Dave Nodar, a Catholic layman who during the 1990s regularly presented schools of evangelization in Poland and Slovakia for young adult Catholics from the former Soviet Bloc. Inspired by the call of Pope John Paul II to a new evangelization, Dave approached Cardinal William Keeler, Archbishop of Baltimore, about beginning an evangelization ministry. The Cardinal was enthused, and he recognized ChristLife as an apostolate of the Archdiocese in 1995.
Dave Nodar is a frequent speaker in dioceses, parishes, and other organizations in the USA and internationally. He is a content developer and speaker for the Discovering Christ, Following Christ, and Sharing Christ series, as well as co-author of Discover Christ, Follow Christ, and author of Characteristics of the New Evangelization. His passion is to help others to know the love of God the Father in Jesus Christ through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Dave and his wife Ely have seven adult children, eight grandchildren, and live in Ellicott City, Maryland. Their desire is to bear witness together to the good news of God’s love, mercy, and life changing presence. Dave enjoys hiking with Ely and wishfully dreaming of opportunities to go fishing!
Dianne Davis began her career in banking, advancing to Vice President of both Bank of New York and M&T Bank. She married her husband John whom she met in high school and they had two sons. Even though it looked like she had all she was striving for, inside she felt a longing for something more. In March 2002, two women came to her office looking for a business loan and ended up sharing the Gospel with her. Later that night Dianne committed her life to Jesus. She eventually left her career in banking and now is a Catholic evangelist leading friends and strangers to Christ. She serves as ChristLife’s NY Regional Director, conference speaker, and teacher on the Sharing Christ series.
Father Erik Arnold is pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Ellicott City, MD, and ChristLife’s liaison to Archbishop William Lori of Baltimore. He earned a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 1999. He is a speaker for the Discovering Christ, Following Christ, and Sharing Christ series. As a pastor, he has run the ChristLife series in his parish multiple times and seen great fruit come from it as people’s lives are changed by the Lord Jesus and the power of the Gospel. Father Erik loves to escape to the outdoors to get recharged, especially through hiking and kayaking, as well as drawing support from family and priest friends and a good meal.
